Oh my Gosh can you believe my baby is 6 Months old today? It makes me so sad and I now realize it does go by way too fast! What I love about Ben is still his SMILES. He has an amazing heart melting smile! This little guy smiles all the time it makes me so proud that he is such a Happy Baby. Also Ben started sucking his toes which I have been waiting for. Bathtime is still his favorite time of day along with eating. We finally got out of swaddlers and are now in Pampers Cruisers which I am sure he will be doing in no time!
His menu consisits of:
oatmeal
bananas
sweet potatos
butternut squash
sweet peas
green beans
pears
apples
prunes (his favorite)

The End of a Legend
So I think tomorrow is the day that the diesal will no longer belong to Bo...sad I know. I really feel like it is the end of a legend. But by looking at the picture you can tell she has seen better days. Me and Bo have had so many memories with this truck she has been with us from the beginning (13 years). I used to get butterflies in my stomach when I could hear that engine coming down Glennbrook. And how Bo's friends were so impressed at how well I could drive that big truck when I was having to drive them home drunk they just couldn't feel the curbs that were hit....and when we lived on Greenville Ave. on cold mornings I would be sleeping and wake up gagging of the fumes it released when Bo left for work.
Bo was outside taking pictures of the truck and I just had to get a picture of Ben and the big red truck so in 16 years I can say "Son your car isn't that bad look at what your dad tried to save for you"

StoryTime
So after a month of saying we are starting storytime on Mondays we finally did...and Ben loved it! Bo had the day off so he went with us he of course was the only dad there and we when we left he said he thought this was something that just me and Ben could enjoy together. I think he was just mad that he didn't know all the nursery rhymes and songs :)
So when you walk in you get a back pack with the books that are read that day, a bandana for peek a boo, a puppet, Ben got the Lion. And antibacterial wipes to wipe down the books and everything that you use that day which I loved. Ben was so cute he followed when we read the books and laughed at peek a boo and tried to eat the lion. Throughout storytime he kept looking at the little girl next to him and would smile then look at the book. look at her and smile. Her name was Presley and she was super cute. I can't wait till he makes some friends.

Happy 5 Months!
Only a couple days late. But what I love most about Ben this month is how perfect he is! And sweet. He has his favorite toys one is a book that is zoo animals and made out of that crinkly paper noise...loves it! Another is his music jukebox. Also when I put him to sleep he loves to rub my face on a good night bad night he actually grabs my nose and sticks his fingers in it, put his fingers in my mouth and scratches my gums but still so sweet ;) Oh and as everyone in New Orleans learned he loves his mommy's singing voice...everybody now "Baby Beluga in the deep blue sea..."
What I love most about Ben this month is that he misses his daddy when he isn't there. We were in New Orleans last week and Bo flew down on Thursday. Ben had been pretty fussy and fighting sleep just not in a good mood. So Grandpa went and picked Bo up from the airport. When Bo got there and held Ben he just laid his head on Bo's chest it was like isn't relaxation he just laid there awake for almost an hour you could just see that he had missed his daddy :( It was the sweetest thing!

Avocados
You can't tell by the picture but he did like the avocados the first time...Not so much the second time but Grandma was in town and saved him from the yucky green stuff...But as soon as Grandma left and we got back from New Orleans I gave him some more still not so much...but it is great baby brain food. He eats them but I don't think they are his favorite. I did start sweet potatoes and those are his favorite he loves him some sweet potatoes. I have been making my baby food I am very impressed with myself so I will take pictures on Saturday when I make a whole bunch of it!
