Ben's friend Sean came by and played today. We met Sean and his mom at story time. Sean's 1st birthday is Saturday so

I had to take a picture. Ben is very busy and can be a maniac but has never climbed in the back of the tracker like Sean did :)

But he does stand on the four wheeler and tries to do..NO HANDS!

It's That Time Again

4th of July

For The 4th of July we went to Lake Fork...Again we had a Great time! A couple of Bo's friends put on an AMAZING firework show! I was so impressed! It was by far the BEST EVER! We sat on their neighbors dock while they shot the fireworks from theirs. Could not have had better seats! It was so neat to be on the lake watching fireworks. Thank You so Much to The Byer's for having us. I am now spoiled by that and will be back EVERY year :) Ben watched a couple of the fireworks then layed his head on my chest and slept through the the rest. He was so tired. He plays so hard when we are at the lake!

Also this trip Ben was loving him some Uncle Justin. Whenever Justin was sitting on the chair or couch he would go up to Justin and lay his head on him and want Justin to pick him up. It was so cute! When we were leaving Justin was hugging me bye and Ben pratically jumped out of my arms for Justin to take him! It was very sweet :)

Pregnant???

Or know someone that is? No I am NOT pregnant but I wanted to pass on some important information that I found out today and that could really help the lives of children. I know that a couple of my blog readers are pregnant :) or know someone that is.

Ben's friend Tripp has been having some issues with his eyes (due to EB) His mother blogged about a procedure that he is going to have hopefully on July 7th. Where doctors will sew on amniotic membranes underneath his eyelids. They get this "amniotic membrane" from random women who donate their amniotic sacs. Crazy Right? I know it might sound gross or weird to some but this quote from Tripp's Mom might make you feel different...

"...And honestly it might seem kind of weird, but I don't care WHO this "membrane" comes from--- if it gives Tripp ANY little bit of relief it could come from Bill Clinton's dog's amniotic sac, I don't care!!" I love how she can still have some kind of humor after everything that she goes through on a daily basis. She is an INCREDIBLE WOMAN! you should definitetly follow her blog she has helped me to be a better mother and to not take one day for granted!

Because a mother donated her amniotic sac Tripp will hopefully get some kind of relief that he SO MUCH DESERVES!

I searched online for info and didn't really find anything so I am sure a doctor would know more about this and how to do it. So Please pass this information along and talk to your doctor about it. I had no idea that there was any use at all for the amniotic sac. And also say some prayers for sweet Tripp that this procedure will help him to feel better
